(Local Name: Øresundsakvariet) On Helsingør's Strandpromenaden lies the Øresund Aquarium, with 10 types of marine animals found in the Sound. Their biosphere includes sand-flats, a rocky reef, the wreck of a sunken galleon and mud from the deepest part of the Sound.

It has a tank where visitors can touch and hold a variety of marine animals including star fish, shellfish and sea urchins.
