Humlebæk - Louisiana Museum for Modern Art Museum for Moderne Kunst

10 km/6 mi south of Helsingør, on the coast road, lies the village of Humlebæk. Here, in a park with a view of the Øresund, stands the Louisiana Museum of Art, founded in 1958 by the merchant and art lover Knud W. Jensen, who instructed the architects Jørgen Bo and Vilhelm Wohlert to build a museum complex here which has since been extended on several occasions, the last time being when an underground Graphic Arts Wing was added.
