Hornbæk

The road from Helsingør to Gilleleje leads past many seaside resorts to the northern tip of Zealand. Leave Helsingør on the Strandvej, passing the Mansion of Marielyst, and after 4 km/2.5 mi Julabæk will come into view, with its old watermill, the "Hammermøllen". This mill, built for Fredrik II at the same time as Kronborg Castle, served for a time as an arms factory and was restored in the 1980s. From Hellebðk a stretch of coast road leads to the popular resort of Hornbæk.
