From Hornbæk in Zealand the road leads through Villingbæk to Dronningmølle. 2 km/1.25mi south, in a nature reserve, is a museum containing paintings and sculptures by Rudolph Tegner (1873-1950). The artist, who lived and worked in Denmark and France, adopted a monumental style, using such materials as plaster, clay, bronze and marble. The museum - a pleasing blend of architecture, sculpture and nature - was designed by the artist himself. In the park stand statues, some on plinths, embodying mythological forms (such as "King Oedipus") or people of his time ("My wife Elna").
