Kula / Maui Upcountry

Highways 37 and 377 on the slopes of Mount Haleakala, being near to Haleakala National Park and being of higher elevation to offers some respite from the heat of the central sugar cane plains has attracted some nice homes, communities and attractions. Highway 37 also turns into 31 which follows the south coast of Maui.

Kula, the center of Upcountry, is known as the agricultural region of Maui.
