Description
The Mark Twain House & Museum is the site of Twain's Hartford home, where he and his family lived from 1874 to 1891, when he wrote his most popular works, including Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. In addition to providing tours of the restored home the institution offers programs that underscore Twain's legacy.

This Victorian Gothic mansion is a National Historic Landmark.
