Haarlem - Guard-House

(Local Name: Hoofdwacht) To the right of the Brinkmann-Passage is the Hoofdwacht (Guard House), one of the oldest buildings in the town, with a gable of 1650. This was the site of the old municipal police headquarters and probably of Haarlem's first town hall.
