(Local Name: Klostermuseum) The Benedictine Abbey in Müstair, founded in 780, is of particular interest. The frescoes in St John's Church (eighth century), some of which can be seen in the Swiss National Museum in Zurich, are among the finest Carolingian work. Also to be seen is a 12th C. statue of Charles the Great.
