Grenada

Known as the "Spice Island" Grenada is a leading producer of nutmeg, mace, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in the Caribbean. It is also known for its beautiful scenery, lush mountain rainforests and beaches.

With a population of just under 90,000 Grenada is one of the smallest independent countries in the western hemisphere. The country consists of the main island of Grenada, home to 90% of the population and land area, as well as other smaller islands, including Carriacou and Petit Martinique. The smaller islands are particularly popular with yachters.
