The Weatherspoon Art Museum is found on the campus of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. The museum is noted for having one of the best collections of contemporary and modern art in the Southeast. Within the permanent collection two collections are of note; The Dillard Collection of Art on Paper and The Claribel and Etta Cone Collection. The Weatherspoon Art Museum also hosts traveling national and international exhibitions.
