The north coast of Euboea is dotted with numerous beautiful villages.
Orei - Marble Bull
At Oreí there is a medieval castle partly built of ancient stones. In the square of the colony is a massive marble bull (fourth century B.C.) recovered from the sea.
Agriovótano
From, Agriovótano, just south of Cape Artemísion (also known as Cape Amoni), there is an attractive view of the little island of Pontikonísi.
Istiaia, Greece
Istiaia, the chief place in the northwest of the island of Euboea, lies in a fertile farming area. West of the town is the site of ancient Histiaia, which was conquered by Perikles in 446 B.C. and bound to Athens by the foundation of a colony at nearby Oreí.
Loutra Aidipsou, Greece
Loutrá Aidipsoú, a popular seaside and thermal resort with hot sulfurous springs (32-82°C/90- 180°F) which were already being used in Roman times. The largest of the springs is directly on the shore, with remains of ancient baths.

Rovies, Greece
The village of Róvies, not far from Limni, visitors will find large tracts of olive groves. The monastery of Ossiou David Geronta is also worth checking out.
