Luxembourg Ardennes Eisléck

The Luxembourg Ardennes stand in contrast to the rather flat landscape around the capital city of Luxembourg. Here there are high, forested plateaus, sheer cliffs, wooded hills and hidden valleys, and impressive views. There are a remarkable number of castles, fortresses, and fortified farms rising out of the hilltops. The Upper Sure Lake, with its slate rocks, vegetation and creeks, is a good place to participate in a number of water sports: sailing, canoeing and kayaking. Local crafts and the famous "lake tea" are a few of the attractions in this region.
