Upper Sure Natural Park Description

(Local Name: Parc Naturel de la Haute Sure) The Upper Sure Natural Park consists of plateaus, narrow valleys with wooded slopes and the lake of the Upper Sure dam, built in the 1960s to meet the country's drinking water requirements. The natural park is a great place for leisure activities and aquatic sports. It is also an ideal place to learn about the regional ecosystem. Wildlife and eco-tourism are important in this region and tours are devoted to these themes. The area also possesses a rich architectural heritage.
