Description
Southeast of Götaplats (main entrance in Örgrytevägen) is Göteborg's lively Liseberg amusement park (Nöjespark), one of the largest and finest of its kind in Europe. On the other side of Örgrytevägen are the Trade Fair grounds (Svenska Mässan). Adjoining is the Scandinavium (1971), with an arena seating up to 12,000 spectators, and beyond this the Valhalla Baths. Still farther north, in Skånegatan, is the large Ullevi Stadium.
