Iron Square Description
(Local Name: Järntorget) To the north of Göteborg's Military Museum, at the west end of Södra Allégatan, is Järntorget (Iron Square), with a fountain by Tore Strindberg (1927); on the outside of the basin are various old iron stamps.

From here Första Långgatan runs west to St John's Church (1866). On a plateau to the south of the church stands the Masthugg Church (Masthuggskyrkan, 1914), from which there is a fine view of the city and the harbor.
