(Local Name: Domkyrka) Along Västra Hamngatan, at the intersection with Kungsgatan (on left), is Göteborg's Cathedral (Domkyrka), built in 1815 on the site of two earlier churches which had been destroyed by fire. It is a three-aisle church with a tower at the west end.
