Gloucester - Historic Docks

The story of Britain's inland waterways is told in creative displays at the National Waterways Museum in Gloucester. Exhibits include working models, craft demonstrations, archive films, and computer games. Boat trips through Gloucester waterways depart from the museum.

The Queen Boadicea II (Little Dunkirk veteran ship) takes passengers for 45 minute boat trips on the Gloucester/Sharpness Canal.

The Robert Opie Collection Museum of Advertising and Packaging explores the history of design with tins, cartons, hoardings, boxes and bottles from Victorian times onwards.

The award-winning Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum presents the history and development of a unique British tradition: the country regiment. Other displays include a WWI trench and a Korean War film.
