(Local Name: Museum voor Steenen Voorwerpen) The refectory with its beautiful Romanesque frescoes (12th C.) has been the Museum voor Stenen Voorwerpen (Museum for Stonecutting and Sculpture) since 1882. It has an extraordinary collection of medieval tombstones, Ghent sculpture and architectural artifacts from the 12th-18th C. as well as mosaics.
