Gettysburg Scenic Railway

The 16-mile trip lasts 75 minutes and runs from Gettysburg to Biglerville through Gettysburg National Military Park on vintage rail coaches or double-deck open cars. The train also rolls through the foothills of the Appalachians and orchards and farms of Adams County. Theme trains, such as the Easter Bunny and Civil War Train Raid as well as meal packages are available. Special rides occur over the year, such as the County Barbecue Express, a 32-mile journey through quaint villages, run throughout the summer at a higher price.
