The attractive village of Brodenbach, on the right bank of the Mosel, has a Rococo church with a beautiful high altar. To the south, in a side valley, is the Ehrenburg, one of the finest ruined castles in the Mosel area.

At Treis-Karden (with Treis on the right bank) the two Mosel routes join.
