Genoa - Largo della Zecca

Via Cairoli meets the Largo della Zecca, from which a road tunnel, the Galleria Giuseppe Garibaldi, runs to the Piazza Corvetto; the same tunnel continues on the other side of Piazza Portello as Galleria Nino Bixio. On the right-hand side of the Largo della Zecca is the lower station of the funicular to the Righi (302m/997ft), one of Genoa's most beautiful viewing points.
