(Local Name: Jet d'Eau) Beside the Jetée des Eaux-Vives, the breakwater enclosing Geneva's harbor (beacon), is the Jet d'Eau, a mighty jet of water which soars up to a height of 145 m/476ft (1,360 HP pump; does not operate in bad weather).
