The road along the slopes of the Grand Salève runs in 5km/3mi to Col de la Croisette (1,176 m/3,858ft; restaurant), with roads running down to Collonges on the right and La Muraz on the left. Then past the Grand Piton (1,380 m/4,528ft), the highest point in the Salève range, and then downhill, with many bends. 16km/10mi: Cruseilles (781 m/2,562ft), on the road from Annecy to Geneva (N 201); then north on this road over the little pass of Mont Sion (785 m/2,576ft) and through Le Châble and Saint-Julien to the Swiss frontier, 26km/16mi to Geneva.
