Ariel - Ann Carson Dater Performing Arts Centre Description

The Ariel Theatre began as an Opera House during the period of gas lighting. At her peak, the Ariel Theatre hosted Will Rogers, Sarah Bernhard and Daniel Emmett. The theatre was restored and re-opened in 1990.

Today the Ariel - Ann Carson Dater Performing Arts Centre is home to the Ohio Valley Symphony, the only professional orchestra in southeast Ohio; the Ariel players theater troupe; and the Ohio Valley Youth Orchestra.
