Funchal - Customs House

(Local Name: Antiga Alfândega) The old Customs House, the Antiga Alfândega, is on the other side of the Avenida das Comunidades Madeirenses from the harbor. Little is left of the 16th century original, and there was considerable rebuilding in the 18th century.
