Fribourg to the Schwarzsee and Schwefelbergbad

A beautiful run (22 and 33km/17 and 21mi southeast) through the Fribourg Pre-Alps. The road runs via Bourgouillon and Giffers (alt. 767m/ 2,517ft) to Plaffeien (18km/11mi; 851 m/2,792ft), where it enters the valley of the Sense and the Fribourg Alps. 4km/2mi: Zollhaus (902 m/2,959ft), at the junction of the Warme and the Kalte Sense. From here a road to the left leads to Schwefelbergbad; the road to the right ascends the valley of the Warme Sense to the Schwarzsee (1,048 m/3,438ft; Hotel Gypsera), a lake surrounded by beautiful wooded hills.
