Town Church Description
(Local Name: Stadtkirche) At the south corner of the Marktplatz in Freudenstadt stands the Stadtkirche, built in 1601-08 and restored in 1951. It consists of two naves at right angles to one another, one for men and the other for women. It also has a lectern of 1140, borne by figures of the four Evangelists, and an 11th-12th century font.
