Kilby Provincial Historic Park

The highlight of Kilby Provincial Historic Park, on the Harrison River 1 km (2/3 of a mile) south of TransCanada Highway 1, is a General Store from the 1920s. The accommodation at the rear and the "hotel" rooms on the first floor say much about living conditions in the first half of this century. Settlement of the area took place as early as 1870, by which time the first sawmills had also been built.
