Franeker - Kaatsmuseum

In the same building as the Coopmansh Museum is the Kaatsmuseum. Kaatsen is a Frisian ball game which is particularly popular in Franeker. Adjoining the Bogt van GunéG the oldest students' gathering-place in the Netherlands, is an old kaatsen pitch which is still in use.
