Fort McMurray Heritage Park

The Fort McMurry Heritage Park is a historical Village featuring different aspects of Fort McMurray including the river Transportation, the fur Trade, bush pilots, and the aboriginal culture as well as a replica schoolhouse, Hill Drugs, and different churches. The Heritage Park also has a large artifacts collection featuring the first bucketwheel, and a Northern Alberta Rail car. In all the The Fort McMurray Heritage Park is comprised of 15 buildings that have been restored and are situated on Tolen Drive on the bank of the Hangingstone River, in Fort McMurry.
Even the park office is located in a 1941 log home.
