Florence - Historical Museum
(Local Name: Museo Storico Topografico Firenze Com'era) The Museum "Firenze com'era" was opened in 1903 in the old convent of the Oblates (opposite Santa Maria Nuova) with its fine 15th century cloister. Its paintings, drawings, prints and photographs look back over the development of the city of Florence since the end of the 15th century. It also tells of the everyday life of the Florentines, their various festivals and their great processions.
