This beautiful National Park is centered on Mount Remarkable (959m), the most striking hill in the southern Flinders Ranges, which was given its name by the explorer Edward Eyre in 1839.
Magnificent panoramic views, wild gorges and rich wildlife (particularly birds) are the attractions for visitors - who must, however, have had some experience of bush walking and be properly equipped.
