Calshot Castle, near Southampton, was once one of Henry VIII's coastal defenses. The fort houses an exhibition and recreated pre-WWI barrack room. There is also a photographic Spitfire exhibition and exhibits of RAF Calshot and other military aircraft. Excellent views of Solent from the roof.
