Sundborn

4km/2.5mi northeast of Falun, on the southern shore of the Toftasjö, is Sundborn. The Swedish painter Carl Larsson (1853-1919) lived here from 1901 until his death and was buried beside the red chapel (1755), which has a number of his pictures; there are others in the local government offices.
