Jason Islands

The Jason Islands, which consist of Grand Jason, Steeple Jason, Elephant Jason, Flat Jason and South Jason, are some of the most remote areas in the Falkland Islands. Located in the far northwest of the archipelago the islands are not serviced by airplanes ferries.

Rich in marine wildlife and bird life, the area is known for rockhopper penguins and black-browed albatross, and is also home to the striated cara cara, one of the world's rarest birds of prey.
