Description
From the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Enna the Via Roma leads uphill, at several places opening out into small squares. We pass the Baroque church of San Benedetto (Piazza VI Dicembre), the nearby Gothic-Catalonian campanile of San Giovanni (15th century, Piazza Pietro Coppola) and the Palazzo Pollicarini, likewise Gothic- Catalonian, before arriving at the cathedral (Piazza Mazzini).
