Uttoxeter Attractions
The Uttoxeter May Festival takes place in the town's historic market place on each bank holiday Monday in May. The Flourish Festival in June features visual arts, drama, dance, music and food.
One of Uttoxeter's main attractions is a bas-relief depicting a scene in which Dr Johnson stood bareheaded in the rain in the market square to atone for his refusal to attend his father's bookstall in his youth.

Staffordshire Way
This 95-mile / 153-kilometer trail is a good way to see Staffordshire. The trail starts at Mow Cop on the rugged Congleton Edge, passing Rudyard Lane, along the Churnet Valley to Uttoxter, then goes across the Cannock Chase on to the Kinver Edge in the south of the county.
