Preston Attractions

Preston (pop. 126,200) is located on the Ribble, 30mi/48km northeast of Liverpool. It is an administrative center with a number of industries including aircraft, chemicals and textiles.

The most notable landmark in Preston is St Walburge's Church, completed in 1854 with a 309 ft steeple. Other buildings of note include the Miller Arcade, the Town Hall, Fishergate Baptist Church and buildings in Winckley Square.
