Otterburn Attractions
Otterburn was the site of the battle of 1388 in which the English were defeated by the Scots. It is located on the A696, northwest of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. There are several notable buildings in Otterburn such as Otterburn Hall from 1869 and Otterburn Tower, dating back to 1254.
The center offers supervised cross-country rides through local bridleways, across moorland and forestry. Rides can be booked by the hour, day or week. Tuition is also available. Unaccompanied children's holidays are a specialty, but family holidays can also be arranged in self-catering cottages.
