Some of the notable buildings inclue the 15th century St Peter's Church, the Church of St Mary's, the Merchant's House and Marlborough College. Marlborough is also an ideal base for tourists to explore the county of Wiltshire.
Alton Barnes

Marlborough College
In 1843, what had been a 16th century manor house, itself constructed from the remains of a Norman castle, became a school, having previously been put to a variety of uses. Marlborough College now has more than 900 pupils and is one of the country's leading public schools.
Pewsey
The "White Horse" chalk drawing overlooks the town. It was cut in 1937 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI.
Ramsbury
Ramsbury flourished in Saxon times as a center of a growing diocese with a cathedral and a bishop, but in the past nine centuries has been reduced to a parish town.
