Maidenhead Attractions

 
Maidenhead (pop. 60,461) is located 6mi/10km northwest of Windsor. The town is a popular holiday resort with many boat clubs. Its railroad bridge, opened in 1838, is borne by brick arches with spans up to 131ft/40m in width.

Maidenhead has a shopping centre and other shops on High Street, an eight-screen cinema, a bowling alley and an arts centre.
