Howden Attractions
From Beverley continue along the A63, in places passing very close to the Humber, to Howden (population 2,000), a pleasant little town with cobbled streets.
Howden is noted for the array of Georgian and Victoria era architecture.
Howden Minster is a 14th C church in the town of Howden. The chancel and octagonal chapter house may only be viewed from the outside.

Medieval St Peter's Church was built mainly in the 14th century. Its impressive 15th century tower is 135ft/41m high. The choir and the chapterhouse fell into ruins in the 17th century but are well worth examining.
