Cowboy Poetry Gathering
The Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko is a weeklong gathering of people who celebrate life in the rural west. Art, entertainment, and of course poetry, are all part of the event. The Cowboy Poetry Gathering has been going on for over 20 years and attracts a diverse crowd at each gathering. The gathering generally takes place in the last week of January each year.
