Tomb of Antef Description
No. 115, the Tomb of Antef (18th Dynasty). The vestibule, which is now roofed over for protection, was originally open, with seven pillars. On the rear wall are the remains of stucco reliefs: on the left the dead man, with his wife, receiving a variety of gifts; on the right vintage scenes, treading and pressing of the grapes, dispatch of jars; above, far right, remains of a hunting scene, with a hippopotamus. On the right hand end wall are remains of the stela. The inner rooms are badly ruined.
