Edmonton - Muttart Conservatory
On the south bank of the North Saskatchewan River will be found four hothouses built in a most unusual pyramidal shape. These glass pyramids comprise the Muttart Conservatory, the premier horticultural facility in Edmonton.
In the Tropical Pavilion a study can be made of plants native to Burma and the Fiji Islands. In the Temperate Pavilion the visitor can see American Redwood, Australian eucalyptus and magnificent magnolias, while in the Arid Pavilion plants from various desert regions of the world are displayed.
