Edessa - Church of Dormition

(Local Name: Kímisis tis Panayías) In Domosa, near the Metropolitan's (Archbishop's) Palace, from which there is a magnificent prospect of the plain, stands the church of the Dormition (Kímisis tis Panayías), built on the site of a pagan temple, with frescoes.
