Description

15km/9mi west of East London is Umtiza Forest Reserve, a 724ha/1788ac expanse of dense coastal forest which is home to large numbers of birds, monkeys and antelopes. Three roads (respectively 2.5km/1.5mi, 6km/4mi and 10km/6mi long) run through the reserve. It can be entered only with a permit issued by the reserve office.
