Kresge Art Museum Description
Kresge Art Museum was founded in 1959 and houses Michigan State University's collection of more than 6,500 works of art. The collection includes Greek, Roman and Egyptian artifacts; medieval and Renaissance illuminations; and European and American paintings, prints and sculptures as well as art and artifacts from African, Asian, pre-Columbian and Islamic cultures.
