The Dyer-Botsford Historical House was built by James Dyer, the founder of Dyersville in 1847. The rooms are furnished with period antiques and decorated with Victorian wallpaper. More than 1,000 dolls are displayed amid old buggies, cradles and other toys in the upstairs.
