Bur Dubai - Majlis Gallery

The Majlis Gallery is housed in an old wind tower house with whitewashed rooms and a central courtyard. The gallery presents a range of work including pottery, glass, fabric, furniture, watercolour, acryclic and oil paintings. Household decorative and practical items such as glass sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and cutlery can be found in the Majlis Gallery. A collection of sofas, armchairs, divans and footstools from the French Collection are on display along with dressers, tables and armoires from India.

Ten exhibitions of contemporary art are hosted by the Majlis Gallery each year. The relaxed atmosphere allows visitors to enjoy the art as well as the historic house itself.
